Tracy Anderson, daughter of dancer Diana Ephlin, is an American fitness and wellness entrepreneur and author. In a hope to become a professional dancer, she shifted to New York City, however gained almost 60 pounds during the first year of her stay. This motivated her to focus her career in the weight loss aspect. She is popular for her Tracy Anderson Method, which focuses at helping people get fit. She is also known for training stars like Jennifer Lopez, Madonna, Shakira, Courtney Cox and Maggie and Jake Gyllenhaal. She also has her studios in New York, Hamptons, Los Angeles and London. Anderson further launched a DVD collection and started a live streaming online fitness class, where subscribers get new updates every week, recorded in one of her studios. In her videos, Tracy is often seen wearing sports bra and capris, for she feels that gym apparels should contribute towards a person’s performance.
