Also known by the ring name of The Rock, Dwayne Johnson is an American actor, wrestler and producer. Born in California, he spent his childhood in New Zealand, Hawaii and Pennsylvania. He used to play as a college footballer for University of Miami and won a National Championship as well in the year 1991. He also played for Calgary Stampeders in the Canadian Football League. After being cut out of the team for two months, he followed the footsteps of his grandfather and became a professional wrestler. Johnson signed a contract with WWF (Worldwide Wrestling Federation) which later became WWE (Worldwide Wrestling Entertainment). Regarded as one of the best wrestlers of all time, The Rock has 17 championship titles to his name, of which 10 are world championships and 5 are tag team tournaments. He made his official debut in Hollywood in the movie The Scorpion King in the year 2002 and has made subsequent appearances in top grossing movies. Johnson is known for being at the peak of his physical fitness and has reported to work out regularly. He still makes guest appearances in WWE and in 2015, was regarded as the “Man of the Century” by the Muscle and Fitness magazine. Though for his official appearances, he is seen dawning sharp suits, but he wears proper gym clothes when coming to the ring.
